Our VISION statement

Our vision is based upon the following points derived from God’s Word:

Commission:

BLOOM seeks to go, reach out, and serve orphans using whatever gift we have received, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms (1 Peter 4:10).  We do this by providing programs designed for children to experience exposure to the love and knowledge of Jesus. Each ministry partner will play a unique role in the disciple-making process, but everyone in the body of Christ is irreplaceable (1 Cor. 12:12–26; Eph. 4:11–16).

1 Peter 4

Eph. 4:11-16

Calling:

BLOOM seeks to serve orphans worldwide through hosting programs, child sponsorship, and short-term mission trip opportunities. Our programs provide opportunities for families, individuals, and churches to fulfill this calling alongside us in accordance with James 1:27

Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.

Care:

BLOOM desires to be intentional in the way we care for those we serve. We work through local

Christian leaders to identify and meet needs. Programs in countries we serve are adapted to the different cultures and needs in each community. We seek to meet those needs with wisdom and integrity while preserving the dignity of those we serve.

‘And whoever receives one such child in My name receives Me…’

Matthew 18:5

Community:

BLOOM seeks to improve and help each community we serve: spiritually, physically and practically by coming alongside local ministry leadership to identify areas where we can help by caring for orphans, working to strengthen families in order that they may stay intact, building transition homes, sending short-term missions teams, facilitating special projects, breaking the bonds of poverty, and empowering leaders to serve the people for whom they care.

‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you? He will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for the least among you, you did not do for me.’
